our first day at athens – the weather was at it’s best! perfect weather for climbing the acropolis. was a bit disappointed they were doing some sort of refurbishment to many of the site, made it really difficult to take good photos!
went to the flea market after. oooh i love flea markets! we went back again a few times later in the week (think alex wasn’t as excited as i was, but i don’t blame him, he’s a guy afterall…)
bought strawberries the next day at the flea market before our first greek lunch! the BEST strawberries i’ve eaten so farr :)
and how can i forget sweet leila who brought us around on wed night! watched the change of guards at the parliament and had freshly made doughnuts. yum!
and on thurs – 9 hour ride in the big ferry that brought us to santorini!
